Dr. Tina Allton – Founder

Tina is the Founder of Nations of Women, the President and CEO of the Chamber for Africa Diaspora Relations. (CADR) and also Vice President for the Global women leaders committee for the World Business Angels Investment Forum.

She is a disruptive visionary tackling World’s challenges of the 21st century. As a multi-award winning serial entrepreneur, author, keynote speaker and educational psychologist, she is catalyzing sustainable economic development through her endeavours, has mentored over 5000 entrepreneurs and empowered more than 35,000 women on entrepreneurship.

She’s the co-founder of Undefeeted, a fastest growth diabetes nonprofit inspired by her daughter, which launched in the UK in 2015, within 5 months won an award for Best Not for Profit organization and has done so for 4 years running, a year to date in 2016 it had achieved an unprecedented 6.7 Million global reach.Tina has a proven track record in global leadership, change management, business growth, women’s empowerment, sales and global business expansion. She has personally done over 2.2 million pounds in sales in her own family business. She supports, mentors and trains entrepreneurs and global leaders to succeed in life and business through her global consultancy practice called 160 Consultancy.

As the former High Commissioner to Ghana for the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) an affiliated partner of the G20 Financial Inclusion Committee, her objectives were to develop relationships within the financial institutions, government and global financial markets and institutions such as the London stock exchange group.

She helped identify key partners within the government of Ghana to deliver a comprehensive Africa Master plan developed by the WBAF officially launched in Istanbul in 2019. She earned her  QBAC+ at the London Stock Exchange group.

For over a decade Tina led the multi-award-winning Circle Podiatry together with her husband to win over 15 awards nationally including Best Small Business in London for service excellence.

Tina has spoken in 4 continents, 12 countries, and 25+ cities including the USA, Bahamas, Europe, India, and Africa. She has shared the stage with Sylvester Stallone, Al Pacino, Jermaine Jackson, Vanilla Ice, and Michelle Mone, as well as business and thought leaders such as Dr. Nido Qubein, (Highpoint University- USA), Jay Abraham, Randi Zuckerberg, and more. Tina is an ordained minister, married to her best friend and mother to 7 children & one granddaughter.Her core values are integrity, loyalty, hard work and perseverance.

Fatima Alimohamed – Regional Director for Africa

Fatima Alimohamed the CEO of African Brand Warrior is an African and Kenyan. She is an advocator for Africa and African brands with a solid track record across African markets that lead her to change from boots to heels where needed. Fatima is a thought leader in Strategy, Brand Development, Consumer Relationships, NPD, Marketing and Communication. Prior to Founding and becoming the CEO of African Brand Warrior, she was the GM for Wilmar Africa in both the Palm and Shea Industry in West Africa and has been representing the industries in various positions and boards. Fatima’s passion is to create brands that make an impact on the end consumers and are tied to the social development of a Nation. Fatima has worked on both International Global brands and Local indigenous brands. Her belief is that every contact she makes through her various African markets visit must educate, inspire and help transform the lives of people. 

 She has been a Governor on the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), been the Chair of the Marketing Society of Kenya, Founder Marketing Society of Tanzania and Uganda, The Vice President Chartered Institute of Marketing- Kenya, Chair of the Advertising Standards Committee, Vice President Junior Chamber International (JCI) plus a Member of various Marketing and Advertising Boards. Fatima was pulled in by the Founders of Brand Kenya who reported to the President on various occasions on how to market the Country.

Fatima was honoured with the TOP 50 CMO’s Global award in Singapore and the TOP 100 Most Talented Marketers Global Award in India and was recently handed a Citation for Leadership Excellence by the African Women Leaders CMO Asia. She was also honoured with the Mother of Ghana award for a social development brand cause and was also honoured and Stooled as the Queen Mother (Nkosohemaa) in Memia, Western Ghana for her role in social development in the area of women and children. This has earned her the title of a Queen Mother and a Local name ‘Nana Nyanzu’. 

Early in May 2018, she was awarded in London, United Kingdom at two separate events the ‘Inspirational Woman of the year’ By Women4Africa and also won the award of Marketing Woman of the year by WinTrade London. In April 2019, the Women Economic Forum awarded her with the award of ‘Iconic Woman Building a better World’. She also drives the agenda for building Africa from the soil across the value chain and sits on the committee of International trade relations at the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) and is the current Chairperson of the Agriculture Sector in Ghana at the AGI advocating for Africa to work on the full value chain and not be an importer and exporter of raw materials.

 

Bridget Ama Denteh – Communications and Community Manager

Nations of Women is proud to announce and welcome Bridget Ama Denteh as Nations of Women’s Communication and Community Manager. 

She joins the team as a Journalist with the Association of African Universities as a TV Programs Producer and Host of a Health show. Among the new responsibilities Bridget will be responsible for are writing, reviewing, and updating content for Nations of Women’s social media platforms.

Bridget expressed how thrilled she is to be part of the NOW team. Her entire career has been spent in the media industry and she looks forward to continuing that tradition by providing best of breed content.

Shelley Collins – Head of Cultural Diversity and Gender Equality

Shelley is the CEO of Just Resources International Ltd and The Shelley Collins Organisation. She has a 30-year track record of excellence in the provision of training and consultancy

services in equality, diversity, inclusion, and leadership and management development. She has personally trained in excess of 60,000 personnel across the public services including all Senior MOD Civil Servants and all Senior Military Personnel of the British Armed Forces, in the UK, Germany & Cyprus Her work includes over 20 years of training police services in policing diverse communities.

In Commemoration of the 50th year of Barbadian Independence, Shelley received the Barbados Golden Jubilee Award in recognition of her outstanding service both as a member of the Barbados Community and her significant and invaluable contribution to the United Kingdom. Her work has included the design, development and delivery of the “Conversation for Change” training programme for the Tutu Foundation UK & In South Africa, to over

300 community volunteers and health service professional, to bring about reconciliation and reduce conflict.  She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, She is a Trustee of NewDay United UK.

Shelley is a woman whose thoughts, words and actions come from a place of honesty, love, faith and a desire to make changes for the betterment of ALL irrespective of race, culture, gender or religious belief. She has an amazing gift of seeing the talent and good in all which inspires and cultivates a culture of improvement and unity. Her track record of work including the Police, Home Office, Ministry of Defence, The British Army, Royal Air Force, The Royal Navy, the NHS and with entrepreneurs is a testament to this. In a world with fractioned unity, Shelley maintains stability, professionalism and a desire to make a true difference to all she meets.

Aimee Ashcraft – Chief Financial Officer

Aimee has worked in business and non-profit for over 20 years. Her passion is people, and her message is “Hope”. She has a unique ability to help people discover, embrace, and manifest the wealth that lives within them. She recently resigned her position as Business Administrator/Human Resource Director for Community Transformation Church in Houston, Texas, and has started her own financial consulting business.

 Aimee is a dynamic, witty, and edgy communicator whose main message centers on the theme of identity – knowing who you are and what you’re designed and assigned to do. 

 With Aimee, what you see is what you get – on and off the stage. Her authenticity and vulnerability encourage others to live their lives in a similar fashion. Her presentations release people from the trap of comparison and enable them to connect in deep and meaningful relationships. Aimee’s communication style makes intangibles touchable. She makes vague concepts accessible for practical daily living. While her wit will disarm you, her concepts may disrupt you.

 She uses her voice both on and off the stage on behalf of those who need an advocate. Willing to step into any situation to defend what is right for those entrusted to her care she fights for justice no matter the cost.

 Aimee is a biological mom to 4 and a spiritual mother {mentor} to many. She is the source of life and inspiration for many who look to her for courage to conquer their fears and overcome the obstacles in their paths. 

Jasmine Allton – Administrative Apprentice

Jasmine Allton is a young dynamic twenty year old lady born and raised in London UK. She is
currently working as a sales assistant in Next a clothing and household store. Alongside this
work Jasmine is also a admin apprentice to the team at Nations Of Women.

Her role requires her to assist the team and take on admin/research tasks that not only support the team but also further her knowledge and skills. In her spare time Jasmine enjoys writing lyrics and spending time with her friends. She is lovely young lady with a outgoing
personality and a passion for helping others.
